Final Stats

Three time-defending SWAC champions Alabama A&M ended its season with a 3-0 loss to the No. 3 seed Florida State in the first round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament in Tallahassee, Fla. Karensa Beckford finished with six kills, while Madiinah Abdullah had five on the night. Natalie Rodriguez assisted on 19 of the Bulldog's 21 total kills. A&M concludes its season 22-13.

The Bulldogs fought hard throughout the match, but the Seminoles took control of each set early on. The team was held to a .024 hitting percentage, while Florida State finished with a .397 clip.

Prior to today, the Bulldogs were ranked eighth in the country in service aces per match. This year also marks the first 20 win season for head coach Nedra Brown and the programs' first since the 2004 season.
