Game 4: Jackson State Claims 2-0 Victory over Southern

Final stats

Lisa Wren and Niara Crimiel each scored a goal to help lift Jackson State past Southern 2-0 and into Friday's semifinals.

Crimiel's goal came in the first half off a Shahamin Nunes assist at the 14:33 minute mark. Wren scored an unassisted goal in the second half to solidify the 2-0 win for the Lady Tigers.

Goalkeeper Allison Lane recorded five saves and her third shutout of the season.

Jackson State will face Arkansas-Pine Bluff at 6 p.m. on Friday.

Game 3: Grambling State Soars Past Alcorn State 11-0

Final stats

Led by Marquise Givens' three goals Grambling State breezed past Alcorn State 11-0 to advance to the semifinals on Friday against Prairie View A&M.

Six other Lady Tigers scored in the win, including two apiece by Anita Dominique and Lynsey Carrier.

The GSU defense held the Lady Braves to just two shots in the match. Goalkeeper Cherie Silas pitched her seventh shutout of the season.

Game 2 - Prairie View A&M Overcomes Mississippi Valley State 3-0

Itta Bena, Miss.- Navy Diaz, Yosselyn Aguilar, and Brenda Cast

illo each scored a goal as Prairie View A&M took down the defending champion and host Mississippi Valley State 3-0.

Diaz scored first for the Lady Panthers with a goal from 25 yards out. At the 31:51 minute mark SWAC Freshman of the Year, Yosselyn Aguilar connected on a goal off a Claudia Martinez assist, sending PVAM into the half with a 2-0 lead.

In the second half PVAM's Brenda Castillo scored the lone goal from the right corner of the field to secure the 3-0 victory for the Lady Panthers.

PVAM advances to take on the winner of the Grambling State/Alcorn State game.

Game 1: Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeats Alabama A&M 7-3

Final stats

Alabama A&M got on the board first when Celeste Roberts took a pass down the middle of the field and scored.

The Lady Lions returned the favor shortly after as Jade West found Noah Mithrush on the left side of the field for the tying goal.

Alabama A&M regained the lead when Kanesha Gulley found Brittany Joseph on the right side of the field for the goal.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff tied the game early in the second half as Erika Forbes scored on a penalty kick. UAPB then added goals by Nicole Parks-Powell and Jade West to take the lead.

The Bulldog's Brittany Joseph connected on a shot from 35 yards out to inch AAMU closer. However, two final goals by UAPB's Taryn Wright and Rachel Harker would put the game away for the Lady Lions.

Arkansas- Pine Bluff advances to take on the winner of the Jackson State/Southern game.
