SU (13-6, 7-2) is the hottest team in the league, having won seven straight games. The Jags - who dont have a scorer in the SWAC's top ten - are getting it done on the defensive end, as they lead the conference in scoring defense and is second in field goal defense. The Jags pounded GSU 65-40 in their earlier meeting. Hannah Kador led the way with 19 points in that game. Kiara Marshall and Jasher Blocker led Grambling State (6-12, 3-6) with 11 points each.

Alcorn State at Jackson State, 3 p.m.*
Alcorn State (5-12, 5-4) is currently tied for fourth place and is fighting to remain in the top half of the SWAC standings. Jackson State (2-17, 1-8) is looking to shake off difficult first half that is very unusual for this traditional contender. Alcorn beat JSU 60-41 on January 27. Sharnika Breedlove scored 15 for the Braves.

Alabama A&M at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 5:30 p.m.*
AAMU (9-9, 5-4) split their homestand against Texas teams, losing to TSU but beating Prairie View. UAPB (4-15, 3-6) snapped a three game losing streak with a big win over Jackson State on Monday. Katrich Williams' 26 points led the Bulldogs to a 75-59 win over UAPB, despite 19 points from Laquisha Slaton.

Texas Southern at Prairie View A&M, 5:30 p.m.*
Texas Southern (9-11, 6-3) is sitting in third place heading into the second half of the conference season, while the Panthers (11-7, 8-1) are enjoying their usual perch atop the SWAC. Latara Darrett led PV with 22 points in a 76-53 win over TSU back in January. However, since then, reigning SWAC player of the year Gaati Werema has been lost to injury.
