SWAC CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS OF THE WEEK
WOMEN'S Kesia Derilus, Alabama State; 5-3, SO; Royal Palm Beach, FL
With a time of 18:30, Derilus finished fourth out of 99 runners at the Gulf Coast Stampede in Pensacola, FL last weekend. Her time in the 5K race is a personal season-best for the Florida native. The Lady Hornets placed 6th out of 12 teams at the race.
Jephtah Kenei, Alabama State; 5-6, JR; Kapsabet, Kenya Kenei placed third out of 94 total runners last week at the Gulf Coast Stampede. Kenei's time of 25:26 in the 8K race is a season-best for him. The Hornets finished third overall at the meet which included 11 teams. |
