Atlanta, GA - With two days down in the 9th Annual HBCU Tennis Championship, Saturday is set to see the men's and women's singles finals round and the doubles semifinals and finals round. Day two highlights and recaps are below:

Women's Singles Action

• Alabama A&M's Jasmine Cherry battled Southern's Carlista Mahommed in an intense 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 singles match with Mahommed emerging the victor. Mahommed will take on Florida A&M Alexis Brown in the Flight B singles final on Saturday.

• Alcorn State's Arielle Buchman took down Xavier University's Collen McArthur 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the Flight C singles final on Saturday.

Women's Doubles Action

• Southern's Megan Wiltz & Katherine Curtis advanced past FAMU's Pye & Olabegi 9-7 into Saturday's Flight A semifinals. They will meet Bethune Cookman's Lopes & Peterson-Paul.

• Southern's Wood & Mosley will take on Fort Valley State's Opata & Pettiford in Flight B quarterfinals action on Saturday.

• Alcorn State duo Hoepelman & Buchman will meet Bethune-Cookman's Davis & Paez in the Flight B quarterfinals.

• Also in the Flight B quarterfinals, Southern's Mohammed & Gaines will face FAMU's Izomor & Dean.

Men's Singles Action

• Arkansas-Pine Bluff's Eduardo Legue overcame Hampton's Jungho 6-4, 2-0 Ret to advance to the Flight B men's singles final on Saturday.

Men's Doubles Action

• Arkansas-Pine Bluff pair Gomez & Lugue will battle FAMU's Moore & Jackson in the Flight A semifinals round on Saturday.

• Lidzar & Krutkin of Alcorn State will take on Alcorn State's Dominguez & Bethune-Cookman's Belucci in Flight B semifinals action.

• Prairie View A&M's Wiltz & Powell are set to meet Fort Valley State's Williams & Belk in the semifinals round.

• Alcorn State duo Shearon-Hawkins & Gonsalvez will face Bethune-Cookman's Cruz & Jackson in the Flight B semifinals.
