JSU Golf Program to be featured on ESPN's Outside the Lines

JACKSON, MS - (courtesy JSU Sports Information) Jackson State University head golf coach Eddie Payton will be featured on ESPN's Outside the Lines Sunday at 8 a.m. (CT) The feature will center around the progress that African Americans have made in the sport of golf, since Tiger Woods won the Masters in 1997. "African-Americans need to get more involved with golf," said Payton. "We are not developing enough black golfers. We need more support from our own community in order to make significant progress in the sport."
