MBB: Hamilton named SWAC Player of the Week
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) has recognized Prairie View A&M’s Zachary Hamilton as the SWAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for his outstanding performance during week seven of the regular season.

Hamilton poured in another monster week for the Panthers as the senior averaged 24.5 points, four rebounds and one block in two games during this past week of action.
The former Westbury Christian Prep standout shot 51.5 percent from the field on 17-of-33 shooting including 52.9 percent from 3-point range (9-of-17) and 85.7 percent from the free throw line (6-of-7).
Hamilton, who currently ranks second in the SWAC in points per game with 18.2, scored 18 points with three rebounds, one assist and tied a career-high with two blocks at Ohio this past Wednesday.
The 6-foot-4 forward followed that up by tying a career-high with 31 points to go along with five rebounds and one steal at New Mexico this past Friday.
