Austin Peay State 3, Alabama A&M 0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-9)

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Alabama A&M (5-13) saw its five-match winning streak snapped at the hands of Austin Peay State, as the Lady Bulldogs fell to the Lady Govs in straight sets during Wednesday evening action at the T.M. Elmore Gym.

Terra Brooks led Alabama A&M with seven kills, but was shut out during the final set. Syretha Pride added five kills. Courtney Oliver added four blocks and three kills. Meredith Sieck posted 15 assists and seven digs, and Helena Figueiredo led the defensive effort with 10 digs.

Christina White posted 10 kills to lead Austin Peay, and Kristen Stucker dished out 25 assists.

Alabama A&M was outhit .300 - -.025 during the contest. After battling to a 9-9 tie, Alabama A&M lost control of the first set as the Lady Bulldogs allowed APSU to reel off a 9-1 run. AAMU got no closer than three in the frame.

From that point, the Lady Bulldogs struggled to generate offense, falling behind 21-7 and 21-6 in the second and third sets, respectively en route to the loss.
