News & Notes

• Jordan Woodward of Grambling State leads the SWAC with five shutouts on the season. Woodward has helped Grambling to second in the conference in goals allowed as a team. GRAM is allowing 1/21 goals per game this season.

• Paige Hayward of Texas Southern leads the conference in multiple offensive categories. Hayward is tied for the lead in goals with Ariela Lewis of Alabama State (8), lead in points (18) and game winning goals (3).

• Texas Southern has the highest scoring offense in the SWAC this season. The Lady Tigers have scored 26 goals, for an average of 1.86 goals per game, both of which rank first in the SWAC.

• Tamryn Syron of Texas Southern leads the conference with a 0.95 goals against average this season. Jordan Woodward of Grambling State is second with a 1.26 and Gabrielle Emilien of Howard is third with a 1.51.
