Hornets Runners Place Tenth at Foothills Invitational

The Alabama State men’s cross country team ran in the Foothills Invitational (Oxford, Ala.) on Saturday. They finished the 8k event in 10th place overall.
Carleddy St. Jean (31:50.41) led the Hornets, finishing in 84th place, with junior Vincent Butler (32:29.63) following just behind in 85th place.
The Hornets competed with a full team for only the second time this season, with teammates Demarcus Smith (33:36.05) finishing 88th, while Dylan Young (37:50.99) was 93rd and Ronald Jordan (40:36.97) one spot behind in 94th.
Alabama State will travel to Tuscaloosa next week to compete in their final regular season meet at the Crimson Classic.
