Hornets Runners Place Tenth at Foothills Invitational

The Alabama State men’s cross country team ran in the Foothills Invitational (Oxford, Ala.) on Saturday. They finished the 8k event in 10^th place overall.

Carleddy St. Jean (31:50.41) led the Hornets, finishing in 84^th place, with junior Vincent Butler (32:29.63) following just behind in 85^th place. 

The Hornets competed with a full team for only the second time this season, with teammates Demarcus Smith (33:36.05) finishing 88^th, while Dylan Young (37:50.99) was 93^rd and Ronald Jordan (40:36.97) one spot behind in 94^th. 

Alabama State will travel to Tuscaloosa next week to compete in their final regular season meet at the Crimson Classic.
