Hornet Runners Take Both Weekly Honors

Senior runner Kesia Derilus and freshman Carlos Flores of Alabama State University claimed Southwestern Athletic Conference women's and men's Runner of the Week honors for week three.
Derilus' earned her second consecutive Runner of the Week honor after placing third at the University of South Alabama's Azalea Classic (Mobile, Ala.). She led the Lady Hornets to a second place finish in the 6K, crossing the line with a time of 23:29.52.
In the men's 8K, Flores finished 17th with a time of 31:01.52
