Hampton and Derilus named SWAC Runners of the Week

The SWAC Runners of the Week are Kesia Derilus (Alabama State) and Errol Hampton (Prairie View A&M).

Derilus finished 11th out of 97 runners in the 4K at the Auburn Invitational last weekend with a time of 15:20.8. For the second consecutive meet, she was the first Lady Hornet to cross the finish line. She led ASU to a strong 6th-place finish competing against teams such as Florida State, Southern Mississippi and host Auburn University.

On the men's side, Hampton was PVAM's top finisher at the Texas Lutheran Invitational. He finished 21st with a time of 26:41 in the 7.6K.
