Tigers Earn SWAC Athletes of the Week

The Tigers posted good marks last weekend, as the men and women grabbed 17 top ten finishes at the Gladstein Invitational hosted by Indiana University.
Sophomore sprinter B.J. Lee earns Runner of the Week after nabbing a first place finish in the 60 meter dash, where he posted a time of 6.76. Lee is ranked 28th in the 60 meter dash, also earning him a spot on the Direct Athletics NCAA D-I Indoor Qualifier list.
In women's action, Raina Sanders ran a second place finish in the 200 meter dash invitational with a time of 24.92. Sanders also finished fourth in the 400 meter dash with a time of 56.21, earning the senior sprinter SWAC Runner of the Week honors.
