Hornets Duo Grab Weekly Honors

Earning Runner of the Week is junior competitor Jasmine Pope. She competed in four different races, finishing second individually in the 100m dash with a time of 11.99. She also ran the second leg of the 4x100m (46.21) and 4x400m (3:56.08)relays, which ASU finished in third and fourth places, respectively. Pope ran the first leg of the 4x200m, leading the Lady Hornets to a second place finish with a time of 1:38.03.
Jahneel Tyrell earns Field Athlete of the Week after recording solid marks at the Alabama Relays. Tyrell placed second in the long jump with a distance of 5.75m, recording a personal best in the event. She also landed 10th place in the high jump with a personal best of 1.60m.
