SWAC OUTDOOR TRACK PERFORMERS OF THE WEEK

WOMEN'S

Monica Carillo, Arkansas-Pine Bluff; 5-4, FR; San Diego, CA

During the Alabama Relays last weekend, Carillo finished third in the 10,000-meter run event with a time of 38:47.76.

The freshman was the top finisher for the Lady Lions at the meet, which featured 20 teams.

MEN'S

Stephen Kipkurui, Arkansas-Pine Bluff; 5-8, SR; Kericho, Kenya

Kipkurui placed first in the 10,000-meter run event with a 33:19.17 mark at the Alabama Relays last week.

Kipkurui finished ahead of six other runners to claim the event and lead the Golden Lions at the Tuscaloosa meet.
