SWAC Teams Roll for Bowling Crown
ARLINGTON, TEXAS - The 2012 SWAC Bowling Championship gets underway on Friday afternoon at the International Training and Research Center. After two round-ups, six teams, regular season divisional champs Alabama A&M and Prairie View A&M, Alabama State, Jackson State, Texas Southern and defending SWAC champion Southern.
The teams will take the lanes at high noon for five matches of pinfall competition. The team pinfall will determine seeding in for Saturday's Baker rounds. The teams will duel it out in a head-to-head, double-elimination tournanent. The two survivers at the end of Saturday's Baker competition will advance to Sunday's finals.
The Championship final will be broadcast on ESPNU tape delayed on Saturday, March 10 at 9:30 p.m. central time. However, live streaming during the tournament is available. Live streaming is available on BowlTV.com.
