Broughton Earns SWAC Men's Basketball POW

Arkansas-Pine Bluff sophomore foward Daniel Broughton has been named SWAC Player of the Week for men's basketball games played on February 4 and 6.
The 6-8, 220-pound native of Pine Bluff, Ark. averaged a double-double in the Golden Lions pair of victories over Alabama A&M and Alabama State. For the week, Broughton tallied 12.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. He also averaged 2.0 blocked shots per game.
Hi 19-rebound performance in the Alabama A&M win on Saturday is the highest single-game rebound total in the SWAC this season. He also scored 20 points that night against the Bulldogs.
