Grambling's Roberts Earns SWAC Weekly Hoops Honor

GSU's high-scoring transfer, Quincy Roberts, has been named SWAC player of the week for games played Feb. 25 and 27. He averaged 21.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in two games. He also hit 20 of 22 freethrow attempts.
Roberts leads the SWAC in scoring at 23.3 points per game, but does not qualify in the statistical standings because he has not played in 75 percent of Grambling's games. The junior transfer from St. John's joined the team in the second semester and has appeared in 18 of the Tigers' 26 games.
