Baseball Players of the Week: Stady and Logan
MVSU pitcher Kameron Stady and JSU outfielder Kendall Logan have been named SWAC baseball players of the week.
Pitcher of the Week
Kameron Stady - MVSU - 6-3, 180, Jr., Augusta, Ga.
Stady helped lead the Delta Devils to a SWAC series sweep on the road at Alabama A&M with a complete game victory in which he recorded nine strikeouts.
For the week, he finished with a 1-1 record in two starts, a 3.94 ERA, and a league high 15 strikeouts.
Hitter of the Week
Kendall Logan - JSU - 6-2, 200, Sr., Natchez, Miss.
Logan batted .412 on the week with four home runs, including a walk-off game-winner against Alcorn State. He scored 10 runs and drove in nine as the Tigers won all five games during the week and ran their overall streak to 10 games.
For the week, he finished with a 1.118 slugging percentage and a .545 on base average. He also had two outfield assists on defense.
