SWAC Volleyball Tournament Field Set

With Grambling State's five set over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Monday night, the final seat at the SWAC Volleyball Tournament was reserved. The top eight teams will do battle this weekend in the 2011 SWAC Volleyball Championships at the Alario Center in Westwego, La.

The double-elimination tournament begins on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. with East No. 2 seed Alabama A&M (13-17, 6-2) playing West No. 3 Southern University (10-19, 4-4) and East No. 3 Alabama State (13-20, 4-4) taking on West second seed Grambling State (9-20, 5-3).

At 11:00 a.m., the top seeds take the court as East No. 1 Jackson State (25-9, 8-0) faces Texas Southern (4-21, 3-5) and West top seed Prairie View A&M (10-17, 7-1) taking on Mississippi Valley State (11-16, 2-6).
