Where: City Park Tennis Center / Hilton Riverside

New Orleans, La.
Sunday's Championship Times: 11 a.m. (Women), 3 p.m. (Men) 

Note: Saturday's matches were moved to the Hilton Riverside due to inclement weather with revised starting times.  The first women's match will begin at noon followed by the second women's semifinal, but not before 2:30 p.m.  The men's first match will begin not before 5 p.m. and the second men's semifinal will start not before 7:30 p.m.

About the Championship

The 2018 Southwestern Athletic Conference Outdoor Tennis Championships will be held at City Park Tennis Center and the Hilton Riverside (Saturday only) in New Orleans, LA and will take place Friday, April 13 – Sunday, April 15.

The City Park center features 16 hard courts and 10 clay courts and a clubhouse with a pro shop, restrooms, showers and meeting room. The facility is located on Marconi Boulevard between Interstate 610 and Harrison Avenue.  

Alabama State emerged as a double winner in last season's SWAC Championships as the top-seeded Hornets defeated No. 2 Jackson State 4-0 to claim its second championship in the prior three seasons under head coach Anuk Christianz.  On the women's side of the bracket, the No. 1 seeded Lady Hornets outlasted No. 2 Jackson State 4-2 to win its first title since 1999 under coach Christianz.
