• Alabama State can clinch the number one seed in the SWAC soccer championship with a win over Alabama A&M on Thursday.

• Ariela Lewis of Alabama State leads the conference in multiple offensive categories. Lewis leads in goals (12) and points (26).

• Grambling State owns the second best goals against average as a team in the conference. The Lady Tigers have given up 1.25 goals per contest, which is only behing Texas Southern (1.20).

• Tamryn Syron of Texas Southern leads the conference with a 0.95 goals against average this season. Jordan Woodward of Grambling State is second with a 1.26 and Gabrielle Emilien of Howard is third with a 1.51.

• Mississippi Valley State has the most shutouts of any team in the SWAC this season. The Devilettes have held their opponents scoreless six times. Texas Southern and Grambling State are tied for the second most shutouts with five.
