Kennerson averaged 23 points per game and was on the court for all 80 minutes as she led Texas Southern to a 2-0 week. Kennerson scored a career-best 30 points and dished out five assists in the Lady Tigers' 64-45 victory over Alcorn State.

In the season finale against Southern Saturday, Kennerson scored a game-high 16 points in leading TSU to a 58-46 victory over the Jaguars, a win that earned TSU a share of the regular-season title for the third-straight season as well as the team's first 20-win season in more than 30 years.

This is the third player of the week honor for the sophomore, who stands second in the SWAC in scoring (17.5 PPG) and minutes played per game (36.2).
