Men’s Results | Women’s Results

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern got after it during the Texas A&M Invitational, competing against the likes of TCU, Houston, Texas A&M and LSU.

Aaron Austin of Prairie View A&M was the leading finisher among SWAC men's runners, posting a time of 26:48.9 in the 8K run. Teammate Levante Williams (26:55.6) wasn't far behind. Harold Rodriguez-Pavon of PVAM posted a 28:17.6.

For Texas Southern, D'Andre Lewis (27:11.4) led the Tigers on the men's side. Xavier Martinez was soon to follow with a 27:24.3, and Jose Medina also broke the 28-minute plateau (27:52.8).

On the women's side, Jovana Espinoza was the top runner for PVAM (24:51.3) and reigning women's runner of the week JoAnna Benavidez put up a 25:28.4 in the 6K. Aimee Hernandez also broke through the 26-minute threshold (25:53).
