News and Notes:

- Mississippi Valley State's Timothy Misoy (Men's) and Kemei Scholasticah (Women's) were named SWAC Cross Country Athletes of the Week. Both earned top-10 placings individually during the Allstate Sugar Bowl Cross Country Festival in leading their respective teams to third and second place, respectively.

- Grambling State returns to action for Louisiana Tech's Mook Invitational, where the Tigers are set to compete alongside SWAC schools Jackson State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff. In Grambling's first meet of the year, the men earned two top-4 results, with freshman Aaron Koech winning in his collegiate debut and incumbent Men's Runner of the Year Hassan Chepkwony coming in fourth.

- Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M are set to share the trails with Power 5 opposition tomorrow, when they take part in the Texas Invitational as hosted by the University of Texas.
