Alabama State 4, Grambling 0
MONTGOMERY -- Alexandra Cannon scored two goals, while Lenna Lamas and Stephanie Howard added a goal apiece as Alabama State (5-6-2) rolled past Grambling (2-8).

ASU keeper Kylee Hathaway had three saves in the shutout. Meanwhile, Grambling netminder Amila Omerovich was peppered by the Lady Hornet offense all day. She made 16 saves, facing 32 shots, 20 on-goal.

Three of the ASU goals came in the first half. Cannon scored her first goal in the 31st minute with an assist from Anastasia McCleary. Then in the 38th minute, Lamas assisted Howard for the second goal. In the 41st minute, Cannon scored her second goal of the game and 6th of the season off of an assist from Helma Von Zadow to give the Lady Hornets a 3-0 lead at halftime.

Lamas capped the scoring in the second half, taking a pass from Kaedi Walther and beating Omerovich with her first goal of the season in the 79th minute.

Mississippi Valley 4, Prairie View 1
ITTA BENA -- Mississippi Valley scored four goals in the second half to overcome a 2-goal deficit against Prairie View.

Two of the goals came from reserves Nykosi Simmons and Jerrica Salido. Starters Kayla Boyd and Shanesse Spratt had the other two goals for the Devilettes (4-8-1). Hailey Beekman added an assist.

Yosselyn Aguilar and Kara Ballard netted the goals for PVAM. Angie Guillory contributed an assist.

MVSU keeper Shelby Willcocks outdueled PVAM stopper Bianca Garza to earn the win. She had seven saves.

Lightening struck early for PVAM as Aguilar scored 1:20 into the game. Guillory had the assist on the play. The score remained 1-0 at halftime.

The Lady Panthers scored another quick goal to open the second half. Ballard scored an unassisted goal 1:43 into the half to give PVAM a 2-0 lead.

MVSU got on the board in the 48th minute on a penalty kick by Boyd. Then, Simmons tied the game in the 71st minute with an unassisted goal. Spratt put the Devilettes on top in the 81st minute with a goal with an assist from Beekman. Salido iced the game with a goal in the 87th minute.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff 2, Alabama A&M 1
HUNTSVILLE -- Celeste Carrera's goal in the 74th minute kicked Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3-13-1) past Alabama A&M (1-12).

Czelene Carrera scored the first goal for UAPB, but Nycole Henderson knotted the score in the 25th minute.

Alabama A&M outshot UAPB 18-12.

Texas Southern 3, Alcorn State 2
LORMAN -- Jessica Smith scored twice and Gabriella Perales added another goal as Texas Southern edged Alcorn State. Smith also had an assist for the Lady Tigers who improved to 3-12. Deborah Quaye scored both goals for Alcorn State (1-11).

Perales scored the first goal of the game in the 7th minute off of an assist from Smith. Quaye tied the game in the 18th minute with a goal, assisted by Emily Sauer.

In the second half, Smith scored goals in the 58th and 85th minutes to give TSU a 3-1 lead. Quaye scored her second goal of the game in the final minute to round out the scoring.
