NORMAL, Ala. - Alabama A&M University remained unbeaten at home defeating Mississippi Valley State, 3-0, in Southwestern Athletic Conference play on Monday inside T.M. Elmore Gymnasium.

The Lady Bulldogs (4-15, 3-0 SWAC) extended their winning streak to three matches picking up all three sets by the score of 25-13, 25-13, 25-15. AAMU finished with six blocks and hit .374 for the night after hitting .516 in the first frame.

Bianca Richardson led all players with 11 kills and Leslie Ekpe added 10. Ashley Forman posted 33 assists and Rebecca Cortez finsihded with a game high 15 digs.

MVSU (3-8, 0-1 SWAC) was led by Brychana Williams' seven kills, April Brown's nine assists and Jane Peterson's nine digs.

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff snapped a two-game skid picking up a 3-0 win against Grambling State in Southwestern Athletic Conference play on Monday inside H.O. Clemmons Arena.

UAPB (4-8, 2-0 SWAC) swept the match picking up the sets with scores of 25-18, 25-20, 25-15. The Lady Lions have won three of their  last five matches.

Audrey Sherles paced UAPB with a game-high nine kills. Elenie James-Becton led all players with 15 assists and Alexis Lowe posted 13. Brea Clayton tacked on six digs to lead UAPB.

For GSU (0-9, 0-3 SWAC) Dorothy Brown and April Johnson each registered seven kills.  Kierra Hogan finished with 10 assists and a game high 10 digs.
