Southern Headed to Rebel Country for NCAA Tourney

The three-time champion Southern Lady Jaguars will be heading to Oxford, Miss. for the opening round of the NCAA tournament. Southern will face host and No. 16 seed Ole Miss on Friday, May 11 at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center.
The Lady Jaguars earned the automatic bid as the winner of the SWAC championship for the third consecutive year.
Joining Southern and Ole Miss in Oxford at the four-team regional is Rice and Illinois. Illinois and Rice will meet at 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, followed by Ole Miss against Southern at 2 pm. The final will be Saturday May 12 at 3 p.m.
