SWAC Medalist: Myers Goes Wire to Wire

Jackson State's Clay Myers completed a wire-to-wire dominating three-round performance at the 2012 SWAC Men's Golf Championship at Oak Wing GC in Alexandria, La. on Wednesday.
The senior, who let the tournament slip from his hands in 2011 after leading at the 18- and 36-hole marks, left nothing in doubt in his final SWAC Championship appearance. He posted a 74 on the final day to finish at +1 (72-71-74--217) for the three days and four shots clear of the second place finisher, his JSU teammate, Kyle Bordenstein.
The Tigers, however, fell in the team competition to Alabama State by seven strokes
