PVAMU announces Brown will not return as head coach

Prairie View A&M University Director of Athletics Ashley Robinson announced today that head women's basketball coach Dawn Brown will not return next season.
Brown finished with a 41-51 record in three seasons at PVAMU. She led the Panthers to the 2014 SWAC Tournament Championship and a birth to the NCAA Tournament.
PVAMU finished the 2015-16 season with a 13-15 record overall and 9-9 in Southwestern Athletic Conference play.
Prior to being named head coach, Brown spent three seasons as an assistant with the Panthers.
