About Championship
The 2014 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Championship will take place May 14-18 in New Orleans, Louisana at MLB Urban Youth Academy's Wesley Barrow Stadium. This is the first year the tournament will be held at the Urban Youth Academy.
The top four finishers from the Eastern and Western Divisions qualify for the SWAC Baseball Championship. The team with the highest won-lost percentage during Conference play receives the number one seed.
Last year, Jackson State claimed its third championship title defeating Prairie View A&M.
