MVSU/ASU Moved to Monday in Montgomery

The Eastern Division coronation will be put on hold just a little longer, as the doubleheader between Mississippi Valley State and Alabama State has been rescheduled once again. Wet weather, which had the games moved to Saturday from Thursday, has now caused the games to be moved once again to Monday.

Not only has the day changed, but the location as Monday's games will now be played in Montgormery at Alabama State. First pitched is scheduled for 6 p.m. When the first game resumes, it will be in the third inning, with ASU leading 3-0. If the Lady Hornets hold on for the win, Jackson State will win the Eastern Division and claim the division top seed in next weeks SWAC Softball Tournament in Decatur, Ala. If the Devilettes are able to come from behind and win game one, then finish off the sweep, MVSU would be the division champ and the top seed.
