Streaking Devilettes Sweep Weekly Honors

Missisissippi Valley State third baseman Diana Prada and junior pitcher Alicia Lorenz swept Player and Pitcher of the Week honors this week. It's the first this season for Prada, and fourth for Lorenz.
Prada was 6-for-9 with a home run, double and three RBI, batting .667 for the week as the Devilettes continued to roll. She also scored three runs. MVSU went 4-0 last week with a sweep of Alabama State and a 4-1 win over SEC foe Ole Miss.
Lorenz had two complete games in 20 innings pitched. That included the win over Ole Miss. She scattered 15 hits, six runs and five walks while striking out 13.
