The four East Division tickets to the SWAC Softball tournament have been claimed. Meanwhile, the West invitations are still up for grabs.

With Alabama A&M's sweep of Alcorn State over the weekend, the Lady Braves were officially eliminated from postseason consideration. Meanwhile, after a dramatic come-from-behind win on national television over Jackson State, Mississippi Valley State completed a sweep of the Lady Tigers on Saturday to take command of the SWAC East. At the same time, Alabama State, who had the weekend off, is now tied for second place with Jackson State.

In the West, Prairie View breezed past Arkansas-Pine Bluff to increase their lead to three games over second place Texas Southern. TSU kept pace with PVAM by putting the broom to Southern. Meanwhile, Grambling State got back into contention without taking the field. The Lady Tigers moved into a tie with Southern for the final spot in the tournament field after the Jaguars dropped three to TSU. Despite being swept, UAPB remained in third place in the West.
