SWAC Baseball: Conference Play Begins Saturday

A full slate of SWAC baseball conference games begins Saturday. Opening series in both the Western and Eastern divisions kick off the "games that count" over the weekend.
From the renewed rivalry of two of the SWAC's most anticipated improved teams in Alabama A&M at Alabama State, to two of the hottest teams through the non-conference season in Southern at Texas Southern, the SWAC baseball season begin in earnest this weekend.
Also in action, Mississippi Valley State plays host to rival Jackson State, and Arkansas-Pine Bluff pays visit to Grambling. Prairie View and Alcorn State are each out of conference play this weekend.
