Lady Lions Sweep Weekly Soccer Honors

After rolling out a pair of donuts on the pitch last week, Arkansas-Pine Bluff threesome Molly Stone, Kaitlin Morin and Meaghan Storie packed in the Weekly SWAC hardware. Stone garnered Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Morin was Defender of the Week and Storie was top Goalkeeper.
Stone, a 5-10 sophomore midfielder from Victoria British Columbia, Canada scored the game-winning goal against Alcorn State, then assisted on the game-winner in the 1-0 victoryl over Mississippi Valley State.
Morin, a 5-9 junior from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada was a key contributor on the Lady Lions' shutdown defense. She helped to limit both Alcorn State and Mississippi Valley State to one shot-on-goal.
Storie didn't have to sweat much with her defense putting the clamps on opposing attacks. The 5-7 freshman from Victoria, British Columbia was the only keeper this week to record two shutouts.
