SWAC OUTDOOR TRACK PERFORMERS OF THE WEEK
WOMEN'S
Tokeyah Jones, Alabama State; 5-0, SO; Valley, AL
Jones scored a pair of first place finishes during the USA Invitational meet in Mobile, AL last week. She claimed the 100-meter run title with a 12.00 time while also winning the 200-meter run in 24.26.
Additionally, Jones was a member of the 4x100-meter relay team that posted a second place finish in a time of 46.76.
MEN'S
Beldon Ferguson, Alabama State; JR
During the USA Invitational meet, Ferguson won the 110-meter hurdles (14.48) event while also posting a third place finish in the long jump (7.04m) and a fifth place finish in the triple jump (13.39m).
Ferguson also helped the Hornets' 4x100-meter relay team pick up a third place finish (41.77).
