Jasmine Quinn is in her fourth year with the Southwestern Athletic Conference. She was promoted to Director of Championships/Senior Woman Administrator in July 2017 after completing a year in the role of Interim Director of Championships.

A native of Aberdeen, Miss., Quinn is responsible for planning and conducting conference sporting events, which includes all 18 SWAC Championships. In addition to Championship events, she oversees the planning and development of the SWAC’s annual Hall of Fame event.

She assists the Commissioner with organizing annual meetings for the SWAC Presidents and Chancellors, Athletic Directors, Senior Woman Administrators and Faculty Athletic Representatives. She also serves as the liaison to various head coaches groups, including women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross country, indoor/outdoor track and field, soccer, volleyball and softball.

Quinn started with the Conference office in August 2014 as a Communications Intern. After serving in this role for only 10 months, she was promoted to Sport Management Administrator. Her background as a student-athlete in the SWAC strengthened her passion for the organization, aiding in her decision to accept the position. Quinn played four years of Alabama State University basketball, earning the Most Coachable Player award her senior year.

Quinn also brings experience from the media relations side as she worked for WSFA 12 News and WVAS Radio Station, where she played a large role in sports broadcasting and filming.

She earned her master’s degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Sport Management where she worked as a Sport Technology graduate assistant and interned with the Lady Eagles' basketball program.
