MVSU & ASU Complete XC NCAA South Region Championship

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Mississippi Valley State men and Alabama State women cross country teams ended their season at the NCAA Cross Country South Regional Championships in Tallahassee, Fla. Several Southwestern Athletic Conference runners had solid finishes at the meet hosted by Florida State University.

MVSU finished 23rd overall in the 10K with a combined time of 2:50.03. Daniel Kibet finished 41st out of 177 runners posting a time of 31:56.03 for the Delta Devils.

Meanwhile for the women, Joyce Chumo of MVSU finished 46th out of 205 runners in the 6k event with a time of 21:12.62.

ASU's women completed the 6K event finishing 25th overall (1:56:53). LaSane Artraila crossed the finish line first for the Lady Hornets with a time of 22:34.07.
