SWAC Announces Week 5 Soccer Top Players

Yosselyn Aguilar (Prairie View), Stephanie Howard (Alabama State) and Kylee Hathaway (Alabama State) are the SWAC soccer Players of the Week for Week 5.
Aguilar (center), a 5-6 senior from Houston, Texas, captured Offensive Player of the Week honors after scoring two goals, including the game-winner in a 3-2 victory of Nicholls State over the weekend.
Howard (right) claimed the Defender of the Week. The junior midfielder from Wetumpka was instrumental in the Lady Hornets win over Lipscomb. She also contributed on offense with an assist.
Hathaway (left) was the top goalkeeper for the week. The Pomona, Ca. native had seven saves and picked up the shutout in Bama State's 1-0 win against Lipscomb.
